Агар-агар — это продукт, получаемый путем экстрагирования из красных и бурых водорослей (Gracilaria, Gelidium, Ceramium и др.), произрастающих в Белом море и Тихом океане, и образующий в водных растворах плотный студень.

Агар-aгар (от малайского агар-агар — водоросли) — продукт (смесь полисахаридов агарозы и агаропектина), получаемый путем экстрагирования из красных (филофора) и бурых водорослей (Gracilaria, Gelidium, Ceramium и др.), произрастающих в Белом море и Тихом океане, и образующий в водных растворах плотный студень.

Агар

Агар-агар или просто агар, по праву изобретения, – слово малайское. Именно на Востоке впервые заметили, что, если выварить и высушить бурые морские водоросли, получится необычное прозрачное вещество без запаха, вкуса и цвета. Если вещество снова смочить, образуется густой, плотный студень. А если в этот студень добавить сахар или какой-нибудь фруктовый сок, то получается... мармелад.

АГАР

АГАР (агар-агар), полисахаридный препарат, получаемый из нек-рых морских красных водорослей. Содержит 50-80% агарозы-линейного полисахарида, построенного из строго чередующихся остатков 3-О-замещенной-D-галактопиранозы (изредка 6-О-метилD-галактопиранозы) и 4-О-замещенной 3,6-ангидроL-галактопиранозы (см. ф-лу).

Italian Cypress or Mediterranean Cypress ( botanical name - Cupressus sempervirens ) is evergreen and grows to a mature size of 40-60 feet tall by 5 feet wide. This canopy tree enjoys sun and provides dark green fall color.

Carolina Sapphire Arizona Cypress

Carolina Sapphire Arizona Cypress ( botanical name - Cupressus arizonica var. glabra ) is evergreen and grows to a mature size of 25-30 feet tall by 15-20 feet wide. This canopy tree enjoys sun and provides blue-green fall color.

Description:
Cypress is an elegant and distinctive tree that occurs in many varieties/species. It is a member of the conifer Family (Coniferae) and is a relative of Pine and Cedarwood.
Cypress oil is clear and light with a dry ‘wood smoke’ aroma and is extracted by steam distillation from the leaves and twigs.

Uses in Natural Skin Care Products:

It is particularly good for oily skins and has a refining effect on oily and spongy complexions and a tightening effect on enlarged pores. It can also be used on mature and sensitive skin where there are broken superficial capillaries.

Uses in Traditional Medicine:
